We will be going over the new curriculum and structure that has been carefully developed based on the Islamic needs of the children and your feedback as parents. Our mission is to teach our students to have a well-rounded, authentic and balanced self identity, inside and outside the Masjid built on a solid Islamic foundation.
The Islamic School will be spread over Saturday and Sunday and integrated between the Al-Hikma Institute (Arabic and Qur'an), the Al-Tawhid Institute (Islamic Studies), Pre-1 Al-Tahwid Institute, and the Youth Mahad program, all four under one umbrella.
Al-Hikma Institute (all ages): • Learning Arabic to read Qur'an • Learning Tajweed to recite the Qur'an • Memorizing the Qur'an (Ijaza) • Ijaza retreat for advanced level students
Al-Tawhid Institute (ages 7-15 - 3 levels of each topic, categorized by age) • Aqeeda • Manners (Akhlaq) • Worship (includes some light Qur'an memorization)
Pre-1 Al-Tawhid Institute (ages 4-6): • This curriculum will mirror the Al-Tawhid Institute but will be taught through activities to ready the children for the next level.
Focus of the Youth Mahad (ages 16+): • 3 levels of all of the above-mentioned will be taught.
We cannot limit the school to just Saturday because the curriculum is much more intensive, and therefore we will be using Sunday as well.
Monthly Fees: 1-2 children: $70.00 each child ; 3-more children: $60.00 each child
InshaAllah see you all on Friday 8 September for an information night to explain more and answer all your questions.
Registration and First Day of School is on Saturday 9 September at 10:00 AM to 1:15 PM (Dhuhr)
Jazakum Allahu Khaira
