Al-Amaan Center's Statement for #New Zealand

#New Zealand

Finding solace after senseless crimes, whether they affect our religious community or others as before, can be tough. Our hearts bleed with every injustice.

We ask the Especially Merciful One Upon His Servants to grant those whose lives were taken the highest ranks in Paradise.

We supplicate the Guardian and All-Capable One to bestow His vast tranquility, patience, mercy and strength upon their loved ones.

And we turn to the Creator, the All-Knowing and All-Just One to shower down His peace and increase us in steadfastness upon the path, in thankfulness, and in unshakeable reliance upon Him always.

Surah Al-Baqara, Verse 154: وَلَا تَقُولُوا لِمَن يُقْتَلُ فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ أَمْوَاتٌ بَلْ أَحْيَاءٌ وَلَٰكِن لَّا تَشْعُرُونَ

And do not speak of those who are slain in Allah's way as dead; nay, (they are) alive, but you do not perceive.
