There is nothing better for a servant in the matters of his/her life to ensure balance and blessings but to surrender completely to Allah. In fact, at every trial, which are countless in one’s journey of life, there is no path to deliverance and relief except through surrendering to Allah, for He is the disposer of affairs in His dominion and knows what is best for His servants. When a person is struck by fear of a scheme’s plot, a loss of wealth, an affliction in the body, or a calamity involving a loved one, surrendering to Allah is the remedy. This surrendering is observed practically through patience and piety. In the battle of Uhud Allah swt informed the believers that Allah’s imminent help is subject to complete submission to Him through observing patience and piety, “Most certainly, if you remain patient and conscious of Allah and they [i.e., the enemy] come upon you [attacking] in rage, your Lord will reinforce you with five thousand angels having marks [of distinction].. And Allah made it not except as [a sign of] good tidings for you and to reassure your hearts thereby. And victory is not except from Allah, the Exalted in Might, the Wise.” (3:125-126).
Hasbiya Allah wa ni’ma Al-Wakil (Allah is sufficient for me, and He is the best disposer of affairs.)
