Virtual Eid Community Gathering Program from Al-Amaan Center.

Assalaamu Alaikum Wa Rahmatullah Wa Barakatuh

Alhamdulillah, we are pleased to let you know that the Islamic Jurisprudence Council of MN (IJCM) has just announced that since the new Shawwal moon was not able to be sighted, Saturday the 23rd May 2020 will be InshaaAllah, the last day of Ramadan and Sunday 24th May 2020will be the day of Eid Al-Fitr, inshaaAllah. ‏However, please note that in case there will be any change in the situation, the Islamic Jurisprudence Council of Minnesota (IJCM) will be issuing a communique in this regard.

May Allah swt accept our fasts, our good deeds, our prayers, our duaa and our tears, our qiyam, make us from among the righteous, and grant us the honor and privilege of living to see another Ramadan, together, inshaaAllah, Ameen.

Eid Mubarak to all! Eid without community would not feel like a celebration at all! Join Al-Amaan Center's Virtual Eid Gathering as we all connect from afar to share the joy of this tremendous occasion with one another.

Let's celebrate the blessings of the worship, trust, patience and the abundant light shone in every home and every heart. Let's celebrate the bliss of guidance and the brotherhood/sisterhood of Iman.

Our Eid Program (central time):

9:45 am: Livestream Takbeerat

10:00 am: Break for Praying Salat El Eid.

InshaAlllah, every household to observe its own Salat El Eid - 2 rakaas; in each Rakaa, recitation of Al Fatiha and a Surah.

First rakaa: say 7 Takbeerat before recitation of Al Fatihah.

Second rakaa: 5 takbeerat before recitation.

10:15 am: reconvene via the live feed

10:20 am: Short Eid reminder will be delivered by Sh Jamel Ben Ameur

10:30 am: Virtual interaction and greetings with one another via Zoom
